As it says on my website, I moved to Seattle in March. Since nobody knew me in Seattle, I thought it would be a great time to start doing business as Iris Dumuk. Even though I love the name iCandy Photography, there were simply too many people all over the world that had started using that name. FYI, many years ago, I was the original owner of iCandyPhotography.com, but I let it expire when I thought I might like to use another business name. When I came back to my senses, .com was already snatched up. So I registered iCandyPhotography.net instead, which became and remains the #1 iCandy Photography in Google to the day of this post. However, I’ve decided that if I can’t be THE iCandy Photography, then I don’t want to be it at all.
If I wrote about your photos on my blog, don’t worry! I am not taking down this blog. However, if you want to see my new work, please visit me at www.IrisDumuk.net. Ciao!

Stephanie and Erik eloped (with some friends) to Las Vegas from sunny Minnesota in February, only to find that it was snowing in Red Rock, where we were planning to take some photos. Luckily, the clouds made for a beautiful sunset background at Desert Shores, where we took the formal photographs. We then set off to Fleming’s in Summerlin, where I photographed the ceremony and reception.

I recently photographed Melissa’s and Chris’s engagement session at the Bellagio and Paris Las Vegas. The couple is from Hoboken, New Jersey, but Melissa’s favorite spot is the Bellagio fountains, so they planned a trip to Las Vegas for their engagement photos. It was raining, but I didn’t let that stop me from getting some fabulous, romantic images of Melissa and Chris. Here’s a sampling of the engagement session:

I recently photographed Jenn’s and Kevin’s wedding at the Red Rock. They came all the way from Arctic Canada for their nuptials. It was a lot of fun, especially with their special guest.

Sharna and Andren made a quick stop in Las Vegas for a few days to get married at the Little White Chapel before their fabulous honeymoon tour of Fiji, Australia, and Thailand. Boy, was I jealous! Although it was just the two of them, they had tens, if not a hundred, family and friends watching the ceremony over the internet. There were congratulatory phone calls afterwards, which put tears in their eyes, which was touching to see. Sharna and Andren are two very nice people, and I wish them many happy years together.

Last weekend, I photographed Karin’s and Michael’s wedding at the Springs Preserve. The weather was perfect! I was worried that it would be too cold or windy. The setting was beautiful with the desert blooms, autumn leaves, and setting sun. Karin was elegant in her flowy dress, and Michael was dashing in his tuxedo. Here are a few photos from that day:

I photographed the wedding and reception of Mike and Darlene at Sunset Gardens. Darlene was beautiful in her strapless truffle dress (I don’t know the technical term), and Mike looked dashing in his tuxedo. The ceremony was at sunset and the courtyard was lit all over by twinkly lights. It felt like a fairy tale. Here are a few preview images. Enjoy!

Misty and Jim came all the way to Las Vegas from Canada to get married at THE Chapel inside Mandalay Bay. I photographed them getting ready before the wedding, portraits on the Strip, then the reception at Maggiano’s. Misty and Jim looked so beautiful together. Family and friends were so happy for them. It was very touching.

Last week I photographed Jeannie and Casey for their engagement session. They’re from California and will be getting married there, but they currently live in Las Vegas for work, so they wanted to show some Vegas flavor for their photos, which will be used for their engagement party invitations. I had a great time photographing them. Jeannie and Casey were so fun and were so at ease in front of the camera, that it was a breeze. They were up for dancing and twirling and laying in the grass. There were so many good pictures to pick from!

I photographed Maria’s and Raxa’s wedding on 8/8/8. I didn’t realize it until that day, but the date is triple infinity because the number 8 resembles the infinity symbol. So triple infinity is really good for a wedding date! They had a cozy ceremony in their backyard with family and friends, mostly from Las Vegas and Utah.
